Broadgate has partnered with a leading Financial Services Group in the appointment of an Accountant to its Dublin based finance team.

This roles main focus will be to maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records for our legal entities, ensuring they comply with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Ownership: Take full responsibility for legal entity accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Regulatory Compliance: Assist in preparing regulatory returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Tax Support: Contribute to the preparation of tax returns, such as corporation tax provisions and VAT filings.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly finance reports for business units and collaborate with partners to ensure accurate reporting.
• Audit Support: Participate in the annual audit process, including preparing audited financial statements and providing necessary support to external auditors.

Skills & Qualifications needed:

• Part-Qualified or Finalist level accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience with IFRS financial statements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• The ability to work to strict deadlines
