Assistant Company Secretary

Dublin - Hybrid WFH

This is a rare opportunity for an individual who has proven experience as a Company Secretarial to join a leading Insurance firm in Dublin.

This role requires someone to have prior experience as an assistant company secretary and good understanding, knowledge and experience within compliance stemming from a regulated industry.

In this varied role you will work closely with the company secretary and your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with various Board and Committee Chairs to agree meeting agendas and annual programmes of work.
  • Provide on going assistance to the Company Secretary to ensure that the group is compliant under the Companies Act.
  • Ensure that statutory compliance is being adhered too, maintenance of statutory records and ensure statutory returns are completed within required timescales.
  • Organise, schedule and attend annual and general board meetings whilst taking minutes.
  • Advising internal stakeholders and taking appropriate action which includes, working as part of cross-functional teams on the implementation of new regulations and legislation.
  • Undertaking statutory and regulatory fillings.

The ideal candidate will be based locally and flexible to coming into the office for board meetings. Additionally, have proven required experience and relevant qualifications such as part or fully qualified ICSA / CGI.
