Broadgate is partnered with a Boutique Trust Company in Jersey, looking to hire a Client Director.

The Client Director is responsible for managing a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, providing a range of trustee and corporate services to meet specific client needs. The role manages a small team and holds responsibility for managing compliance and risk of the portfolio. There will also be significant scope for business development, to win new business and expand personal portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage portfolio of complex client relationships, ensuing the client facing team fully meets client requirements and expectations
• Proactively participate in and develop the overall business development strategy process
• Identify opportunities to further expand client base
• Ensure team adherence to financial targets and translation into quarterly billable targets
• Responsibility for achieving billing and chargeable hours targets from client portfolio
• Management of risk and regulatory reporting requirements
• Act as 'A' signatory
• Oversee day-to-day management of the team
• Act as escalation point for client technical queries

Experience Required:

• Hold a relevant qualification in legal, accounting or trust (LLB, ACA, ICSA, STEP)
• Thorough knowledge and experience of Trust Company Business
• Experience in a senior position in industry
• Understanding of trends and development in trust sector
• Experience in active Business Development
• Proven track record of revenue growth from new and existing clients
