Broadgate are working with a global player in the Insurance industry to recruit for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 12-month FTC.

This role is offered on a 12 - month fixed term contract and will be based in the IFSC Dublin.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• FAR / PPM
• Preparation of Month end management accounts for a number of reporting units
• Provision of Month End Reporting Packs for Management review
• Report monthly IFRS results to Group on a timely basis
• Perform all necessary group filings to strict deadlines
• Reconciliation of Inter-Company Positions
• Provide monthly results and forecast to the Performance Reporting team in Head Office and provide explanations on variances to plan
• Preparation of Annual Statutory Financial Statements

Competencies

• Professional qualification in accountancy with experience in Financial Services is necessary (Minimum 1-2 years PQE)
• Knowledge of IFRS is required
• Knowledge of SAP necessary
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products. Excellent knowledge of Excel is essential
