Broadgate are working with an International Insurance company to recruit for a Financial Accountant.

This role is ideal for someone who is newly qualified with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.

You will be joining a small team that put collaboration at the forefront of everything they do. You will work alongside senior management which will give you the chance to learn from experienced leaders who will help guide you on your journey with this great company. This role is end-to-end so the successful candidate will be gain exposure to different areas of the business.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Ensuring internal delivery of 20 sets of monthly files from internal sources.
• Uploading data to SAP Business One general ledger and reconciliation of same.
• Monthly and quarterly reporting to shareholders using SAP-BFC online reporting tool.
• Preparation and upload of quarterly and annual Solvency II QRTs using Invoke tool.
• Investigating and analysing differences between invoices and data.
• Involvement in projects from a Finance perspective to ensure all process in place prior to launching new products.

Competencies

• Experience working in Insurance / Financial Services is beneficial.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
• Understanding of Solvency II, IFRS 9 and IFRS 17.
• German speaking would be an advantage but is not essential.
