Broadgate are working with a European Insurance company to recruit for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team.

You will play a significant role within the Finance department while providing support to the Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Review, control and analyse assigned work on a monthly basis including the preparation of all required analysis and commentaries which explain the key drivers of the results
• Actively participate in the overall process to assess profitability, manage internal control activities, and assess and implement risk mitigating actions
• Involvement in the preparation of key client Profit Share and Underwriting year analysis
• Prepare and maintain a complete and transparent audit trail

Competencies

• Qualified / Part-Qualified Accountant working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Self-driven & capable of working on own initiative
• Experience working with IT & Accounting systems
