Financial and Operations Accountant - Medical Device Company - Galway

Yes, Finance and Accounting may not be life-saving activities, but you can play your part in the bigger picture as this innovative medical devices company develops and manufactures minimally invasive devices.

You'll join a small but growing Finance Team and report to the Financial Controller and will oversee other members of the finance departments' work and be responsible for day-to-day accounting.

You'll be involved in:

• Reporting & Budgeting
• Functional Aspects
• Operational Cost Analysis Support
• Audit and Tax Compliance

Your Responsibilities:

• Monthly management accounts
• Report findings of analysis to FC - highlight business issues and make recommendations
• Month end procedures
• Manage cash flow
• Project costs/profitability analysis
• Operational costings / Product cost model
• Monitor and maintain key internal controls
• Identify weaknesses and recommend improvements
• Ensure account information in audit compliant
• Liaise with external auditors as part of statutory financial audit
