Head of Legal

Our client, a UCITS structure and management company, are seeking a 'Head of Legal' with at least 6+yrs PQE in Funds and Asset Management (ideally ROI qualified), to lead their in-house legal function based in Dublin.

The company:

The business has 15+ people currently in its operations, with nearly 4 billion assets under management, and a growing client base of 20+ investment firms and 9+ fund managers, which they are organically growing internationally.

The role:

You would be reporting into the CEO and the rest of the board in an advisory capacity and working closely with the CBI, working on fund documentation and supplements, fund approvals, legal documentation, drafting, end to end projects, keeping up to date with all regulatory changes and support the company secretary and wider business with any legal queries that arise. There will be the opportunity to hire a junior counsel to support you and build our your own team with the business as well for the future.

Ideal candidate:

• Candidates will ideally come from a strong private practice background with experience in top tier firm, 6yrs+ PQE minimum in investment funds and asset management required,
• Ideally candidates who have had experience with the CBI on a range of fund requirements, agreement approvals, and other products (UCITs etc),
• Candidates with strong in-house experience would also be desirable.
