Head of Risk and Compliance

Location: Buckinghamshire (hybrid 2-3 days in the office)

Broadgate have partnered with an esablished but still growing Financial Services company based in Buckinghamshire, just outside of London. They are looking to add a Head of Risk and Compliance due to a lovely promotion within the team! You would report into the CRO and have 2 Sr operational risk analysts looking to you for guidance.

The challenge comes with the chance to expand your industry experience as the Risk section grows out and you would be exposed and take more control of aspects like Cyber Risk, Credit Risk, consumer duty and conduct risk ect after training and development from the company/leader.

It is imperative that you have an extensive knowledge of Operational Risk as you will have very experienced operational risk staff reporting into you. It means you will have the chance to expand your learning development -you would not need to provide junior training but you would be looked to for expert guidance on operational risk aspects across the company (non- financial risk).

As well as operational Risk experience within Regulatory compliance is must too. This position with cover compliance aspects and help to develope the compliance function. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their experience in Risk and compliance but stay within the financial services space. It is seen within the company as the future Deputy CRO and the person who is lucky enough will be invested into as such. Defiantly the right opportunity for someone looking for a jump shot into the C-suite but in a stable (not by any means greenfield) team.
