Job description
Broadegate has partnered with an Irish consultancy who are continuously growing in people and allowing them to to grow through experience and certifications. They are currently expanding our service offerings in the field of cybersecurity and are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an IT Security Consultant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and design of our comprehensive range of security services and solutions for prominent enterprises in Ireland.
Collaborating closely with the Head of Cyber Services, your primary responsibility will be to devise tailored solutions that meet our clients' specific requirements. This position offers extensive exposure to various cybersecurity partners and products, broadening your expertise in the field.
An essential aspect of this role entails engaging in pre-sales and sales presentations, making prior experience in this area indispensable.

Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading client engagements from a technical standpoint, assisting clients in identifying and mitigating potential IT security breaches
- Developing and presenting technical proposals to enhance the security posture of both existing and new clients
- Providing technical and business input to support Request for Tender (RFT) and tender processes
- Designing and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions in Azure and hybrid cloud environments
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience in cybersecurity
- Professional certifications such as GIAC, CCSE, CCSP, CISSP, CISSM, etc.
- Experience in Microsoft Cloud security, particularly in Azure/M365
- Proficiency in some of the following technologies: Splunk, QRadar, Beyond Trust, Crowd Strike, Nessus, BigFix, Cisco, SIEM, Sentinel, Defender
Experience in incident response, Security Operations Center (SOC), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), IT audits, gap analysis, and penetration testing is desirable. Additionally, certifications in regulatory compliance such as ISO27001 and GDPR would be beneficial. Previous experience working within an MSP or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) is also advantageous.
