This is a varied and rewarding opportunity with a progressive international bank. The role will assist the bank, across all its lending units, with the provision of finance to entrepreneur backed businesses, large corporates and high net worth individuals. Typically, lending is delivered on a syndicated or bilateral basis.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Structuring transactions and supporting the preparation of credit papers
• Understanding potential risks and the commercial drivers behind a transaction
• Delivering outstanding advice in relation to the law, regulation and commercials
• Coordinating external legal advice and managing transactions
• Negotiating and reviewing finance agreements and ancillary documentation
• Supporting and advising on standard house documentation
• Supporting and developing relationships with internal stakeholders including Lending Operations, AML, Compliance, Credit and Tax

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• 2-5 years PQE in an established law firm or in-house
• General lending experience
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision
• A commercial "big picture" mindset.
