R2R Financial Accountant - Based in Manchester - up to £45,000PA + BONUS!!

Broadgate are delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing business located in Manchester with the appointment of a R2R Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be the primary liaison point for day to day stakeholder issues and will be accountable for delivery of the monthly group reporting and accounts for stakeholders.

You will work collaboratively with the wider R2R team, following established procedures, accounting principles and guidelines to maintain the organisations financial records and transactions.

This role would suit a part-qualified management accountant looking for the next step up with a business that offers genuine career progression at an accelerated rate, alternatively, a candidate from the top 20 accounting firms looking to come out of audit into industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service delivery and participate in stakeholder meetings involving market controllers
  • Be a key contributor to delivering the finance vision and support key change initiatives and drive through continuous improvement through close liaison
  • Delegated responsibility for the balance sheet and liability management of the stakeholder, closely collaborating with the site controller who has overall accountability
  • Perform General Ledger Accounting processes in the R2R Taxonomy, which will involve maintaining financial systems to ensure completeness of statutory and group reporting for the stakeholder or group of stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified or a Qualified Accountant
  • Ideally you will have experience using SAP with Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment delivering services to stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
