The opportunity:

Our client, a private equity, real estate, and corporate services firm, is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant based in Southampton, UK.

About you:

• ACCA / ACA Qualified, support will be provided to part-qualified applicants.
• Prior experience in preparing statutory financial statements.
• Proficient in technical financial services and strong computer skills.
• Adaptability to learn new systems quickly and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain complex financial records for various funds and related entities, while communicating with clients and intermediates.
• Handle all accounting responsibilities for a group of fund structures, including creating investor reports, financial statements, and addressing investor inquiries.
• Address standard audit inquiries and provide necessary information for audits.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring strong control processes are in place, and maintain supporting documents for all transactions in eFront and Microsoft Excel.
• Supervise junior staff and support senior staff, fostering a mentoring role, while also ensuring prompt and accurate payment of invoices and other financial obligations.
