​Broadgate has partnered with a regulated crypto bank in their search for a Senior Legal Counsel in Zug, Switzerland.

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will:

• Provide proactive legal and regulatory advice to senior management and business units, coordinating with outside counsel when necessary.

• Draft, negotiate, and structure legal documents, including client and third-party agreements in the crypto space.

• Lead legal and regulatory initiatives and corporate matters.

• Advise on legal aspects of innovative products and services.

• Draft and maintain legal directives, agreements, and marketing materials.

• Monitor legal/regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.

• Deliver legal assessments and presentations to senior management.

• Conduct internal training on legal and regulatory issues.

• Collaborate with the Compliance department on cross-border and other legal matters.

• Advise stakeholders on legal risks and compliance impacts.

• Contribute to regulatory communications, audits, litigation, and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements:

• Master of Law from a Swiss University, admission to the (Swiss) bar (additional education such as an LL.M. is an asset).

• Experience of at least 5 years with a law firm, big four/consulting, or a bank, in particular in banking law, financial regulation and crypto.
