Trainee Accountant - Southampton - £25,000PA + (STUDY SUPPORT) - Global fund administration business

Due to further growth and success my client is offering a progressive training opportunity for an individual who is looking for a career in accountancy. If you are keen on kick starting your career in accountancy and are either a school/college leaver or have recently graduated within A&F, I want to hear from you!

My client, a global fund administration business will pay for your studies whilst training you within a full accounting role covering bookkeeping and taxation.

Responsibilities:

• Completing the monthly management accounts and bookkeeping
• Accounts preparation
• Preparation of corporation tax returns and related computations
• Preparation of self-assessment returns and non-resident company returns
• Providing accounting support to clients
• Preparation of VAT Returns
• A working knowledge of excel is required
• Assisting with managing client relationships with HM Revenue & Customs
• Advising clients with regards to their statutory obligations

Skills Required:

• Accounting & Finance Graduate looking to kick start their career in accountancy
• School leaver who has some experience in a junior accounting role
• Strong team player
