Broadgate has partnered up with a leasing Wealth Management firm on the search for a First Line Risk Officer.

Duties:

• Assess risks in the Front Departments and ensure they are mitigated or accepted.
• Determine and address training needs for the Front teams.
• Implement and maintain 1LOD risk governance following group standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate remediation activities, ensuring alignment with supervisors and the 2nd Line of Defence (2LOD).
• Analyze Front Office processes to identify risks and develop solutions to mitigate them and reduce manual workarounds.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in regulatory and risk topics, with 1-2 years of client-facing or relevant compliance/risk experience.
• General understanding of asset classes and financial markets, proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and fluent in English.
• Self-driven with strong communication skills, a structured working method, and a strong client and business orientation.
