Broadgate partnered up with a Financial Services firm looking for a Risk & Assurance Officer to join their Wealth Management division.

A comprehensive package is on offer with a basic salary of up to 80K.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise understanding of processes to assess whether operations, services, and systems have appropriate policies, controls, and guidance in place (i.e., design of the control environment).
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks associated with business/advice activities, processes, and systems.
• Provide oversight of the first-line controls.
• Perform internal controls quality assurance (QA) reviews to drive greater quality controls design, execution, and greater efficiency.
• Prepare regular risk reports for senior management, Board, Committees, and other relevant stakeholders.

About you:

• 4+ years of experience in an Internal Audit, Regulatory/Operational Risk, or Compliance role within a Wealth Management firm or consultancy working with Wealth Management clients.
• Extensive knowledge of FS Regulations and assurance processes/controls.
• A formal qualification in Compliance/Risk/Internal Audit would be desirable.
• Experience conducting reviews on controls/departments is highly desirable.
