This role will suit an ambitious lawyer who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, developing relationships and being part of a cohesive (and fun!) team. The core responsibilities of the role include:

• Supporting the business to deliver a broad variety of financial solutions
• Assisting with the execution and structuring of finance
• Arranging asset finance solutions for lessors and airlines
• Advising on corporate governance, funds established by the business, portfolios and balance sheet management
• Ensuring an excellent quality of deal structure and supporting the minimisation or risk
• Due diligence including consulting with internal teams to gain credit approvals
• Negotiating transaction documentation
• Building and developing internal and external relationships
• Supporting the delivery of strategic business wide projects

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and credentials:

• A sound understanding of asset finance, and ideally aviation finance (indicative 2+ PQE)
• A qualified legal background with a genuine interest in the aviation market
• A very good knowledge of banking/finance documentation
• A knowledge of funds, funds strategy, balance sheet activity and structured finance mandates
• The ability to work as part of a cohesive team and independently
• A high level of self-motivation and integrity
