Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be growing the wholesale client base in Germany as well as manage & develop the company's existing client relationships. It is a strategically important role at our sales function acting as a business development manager to win new business as well nurturing current client relationships.

It is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing Germany business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage overall relationship with existing clients (selectively new clients).
  • Support our work on strategies to acquire profitable new investment business, develop plans and proposals to enhance return on assets.
  • Giving presentations and carry out product training.
  • Communicate results to key business holders.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to answer client queries, perform analysis and provide additional information

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 1-5 years experience in financial services, preferably Business Development/Sales
  • Wholesale client base in insurance and/banking
  • Must be comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders across the firm
  • Fluent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both German and English
  • Strong interest in financial markets/ Asset management, ideally Equities and Fixed Income
