About the team

The team is responsible for business development with German and European clients and prospects, as well as consultants. They manages in total over 30 billion EUR for clients and belong to the largest non-domestic asset managers in the market.

About the role

The BD support officer will be responsible for reporting and assisting the team in their day-to-day business to ensure they can focus on servicing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact person for KVGs
  • Key contact person for external reporting and data providers such as Solvency Analytics and WM Daten
  • Distribute client reporting and factsheets
  • Organising client meetings (incl. annual review meetings [Anlageausschusssitzung])
  • Preparation for client meetings, including ensuring that any meeting papers or presentations are completed in a timely manner
  • Organising internal meetings including preparing agendas and taking/ circulating meeting minutes
  • Assist with / organise Pan-European Roadshows
  • To attend inhouse meetings to improve product knowledge
  • To deal with all reactive and pro-active calls from clients
  • General day to day diary management and any updates needed from the team
  • Assisting colleagues with client onboarding
  • Internal and external (clients & service providers) contact person for KYC/CDD and AML
  • Maintain the investor register on Excel / be responsible for the FATCA log
  • Assist Fund Management from time to time with inquiries and annual tax status confirmation
  • Backup for German regulatory reports (GromikV, VAG, SolvV incl.CVA, CRR)
  • Knowledge for funds data on WM Daten as an advantage

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of MS Teams and or similar video conferencing tool
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs (in particular: Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • A good team player

Desirables:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems; knowledge of Salesforce
