A key client are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to cover Corporate Services based in either New York or Boston.
Business Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Lead the end-to-end client acquisition process, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining profitability.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company's service offerings and market presence.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to mutual benefit.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
- Explore and enter new markets by evaluating market potential, establishing market entry strategies, and overseeing the implementation of expansion plans.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in business development within the corporate services or related industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate services, compliance, and business advisory services.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
