Job description

A key client are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to cover Corporate Services based in either New York or Boston.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Business Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape.

  2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end client acquisition process, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and onboarding.
    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

  3. Revenue Generation:
    • Drive revenue growth through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining profitability.

  4. Strategic Partnerships:
    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company's service offerings and market presence.
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to mutual benefit.

  5. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.

  6. Market Expansion:
    • Explore and enter new markets by evaluating market potential, establishing market entry strategies, and overseeing the implementation of expansion plans.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities and potential risks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in business development within the corporate services or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of corporate services, compliance, and business advisory services.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Established network and relationships within the business community.
