Job description

I am partnered with a global bank in the heart of Luxembourg who are looking to grow their depositary function.

Depositary Officer

Your main duty would be to support the oversight activities of the fund management companies, including third party administration providers

As a Depositary Officer, you'll be overseeing third party administration and investment managers processes and procedures to ensure management company compliance. You'll also be reviewing service level agreements and contractual requirements for our service providers for the various fund ranges, while also working with our Legal team

Along with this, you'll be

Performing cash flow monitoring and recordkeeping of the Fund's assets.

Carrying out fund accounting oversight, including oversight of NAVs, capital activity, and fair value pricing decisions.

Making sure evidential standards and record management requirements are in place, including implementing and managing the documentation retention process for regulatory documents, contracts, internal procedures, communications, reviews and projects for funds.

Reviewing the delivery of regulatory changes at third party providers and making sure processes used by third part administrators are appropriate.

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with experience in the Fund Industry. You'll need an in-depth understanding of the investment funds, Luxembourg regulations, particularly AIFMD, and experience in Depositary services, would be a big advantage.

On top of this, you'll bring

Communication, organisational, analytical and relationship skills

Knowledge of Luxembourg Alternative Funds and AIFMD regulations

The ability to analyse and evaluate complex information to assist decision making process

Custody experience can be additional plus
