Broadgate have partnered with a leading and high growth insurance firm to recruit for a Financial Controller.

The business is going through significant growth particularly in Ireland so it's a great time to be a part of the team and contribute to this growth. Initially this role is being offered on a 12 month contract, due to expansion plans for the team there is the hope that this role will go permanent.

This is a group focused role and you will mainly be responsible for the overseeing of financial accounting teams that are based in Dublin, UK and Asia.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Lead/ input into finance projects and process improvements to ensure that they drive efficiency and align with the finance systems strategy.
• Ensure quarterly analytical review of the financial reporting
• Maintain strong working relationship between the financial reporting team and regulatory reporting team in multiple locations.
• Management of the finance team's objectives, progression and recruitment to meet current and future needs.

Key requirements you must have to apply;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 5 years of post qualified experience in the insurance industry.
• People management experience is essential.
