Broadgate is partnered with a high-growth Hedge Fund who is disrupting the market in Zurich.

They have recently established and launched their first fund, raising investment whilst going through process of obtaining FINMA licence. They are now in a position to hire a Head of Risk to assist with their continued growth. The fund runs a value inflation strategy and is looking to hire someone with experience working with Fixed Income funds.

This will provide an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor in building out a brand-new Hedge Fund.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments across the portfolio, including market, credit, liquidity and operational risk
• Develop maintain and implement risk function for the business
• Monitor and mitigate risk across the across the investment portfolio
• In-Depth analysis of portfolio holdings and investment strategies
• In future, to grow the risk team as the business develops
• Presentation of risk framework to investors
• Variety of other operational responsibilities as business grows

Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in finance or mathematics
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management within financial services
• Ability with risk management systems and tools (Python, R, MATLAB, SQL)
• Previous experience working in a hedge fund pursuing a fixed income strategy
