Job description

Manager IFRS Accounting (f/m/d)

Your tasks:

  • Participation and support in the preparation of the IFRS consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis for internal / external reporting as well as the related other internal and external documents
  • Participation in the preparation of the IFRS notes
  • Independent analysis and implementation of new accounting standards, preparation of IFRS accounting memos as well as maintenance and further development of the Group accounting guidelines
  • Calculation, preparation, measurement and documentation of IFRS matters, in particular IFRS 2, IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IAS 36
  • Main contact person (f/m/d) for IFRS accounting matters as well as independent processing of special tasks and projects
  • Implementation and documentation of internal controls
  • Support in operational activities in the financial sector (e.g. intercompany allocations, payment releases and execution of payment runs, preparation of posting journals and consolidation postings)
  • Contact person (f/m/d) for auditors, tax consultants and external consultants

Ideally, you bring with you:

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration / economics with a focus on international accounting or comparable focuses
  • Three to five years of professional experience in the financial sector of an (ideally listed) internationally active company and/or in an auditing firm
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS accounting (in particular IFRS2, IFRS 9, IFRS 15) as well as good HGB knowledge, knowledge of tax law is desirable
  • Confident handling of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and notes, experience in financial analysis (IFRS / HGB)
  • IT affinity for ERP systems as well as very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with the consolidation and planning software LucaNet is an advantage
  • Business fluent German and written and spoken English
