Broadgate have partnered with an exciting Challenger bank on the journey of growth with there Digital transformation. A new position has been created with huge amounts of growth and autonomy to steer the position. The IT & Change Assurance Manager Role reports to a very hands on Head of Risk - IT & Change Assurance in Risk & Compliance division you would ensures effectiveness, efficiency, compliance of IT systems, processes, and controls. Take responsibility of assessing IT risk management, control frameworks, evaluates IT-related changes provides assurance, identifies improvements, supports strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts assurance reviews on IT systems, processes, ensures compliance.
  • Supports oversight of operational risk categories (IT, Change, Data Management, End User Computing).
  • Evaluates IT-related changes, projects, ensures effective execution.
  • Plans and documents assurance reviews, identifies and assesses IT risks.
  • Produces accurate assurance reports, tracks improvement actions.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining annual IT & Change Assurance Plan.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, provides guidance, challenges risks.
  • Coordinates reviews with second line functions and Internal Audit.
  • Oversees IT-related risks for key outsourced suppliers.
  • Monitors technology-related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, provides guidance to business.
  • Stays updated on IT assurance trends, best practices, regulatory changes.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Identifies, assesses IT risks, provides recommendations.
  • Analyzes, evaluates data, communicates effectively.
  • Manages tasks independently, prioritizes, multitasks.
  • Develops collaborative relationships, maintains records.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data management, security.
  • Familiarity with IT change management, project management.
  • Knowledge of businesses, relevant regulations.
  • Awareness of emerging issues in financial services, legislation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in IT risk management, IT audit essential. (IT knowledge and hands on approach is key)
  • Financial services experience is ideal but if you have 3+ Years IT audit/ IT assurance experience we want to hear from you!
  • Professional qualification in IT risk management or IT audit desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis tools desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field desirable.
