Position: Operational Risk Analyst

Department: Risk Team

Role Summary: As an Operational Risk Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with the Operational Risk Manager to facilitate the seamless execution of second-line defence strategies.

Your primary responsibility will revolve around conducting comprehensive analyses of risk events and operational risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities: As an Operational Risk Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Reviewing, investigating, and presenting findings on operational risk events.
  • Generating insightful operational risk management reports.
  • Monitoring remedial actions and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely progress updates.

Your Profile:

Technical Proficiency:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within an FCA-regulated firm (with a preference for wealth management experience).
  • Proven expertise in conducting and challenging root cause analyses of risk events.
  • Experience within RCSA framework and a good understanding of what an operational risk framework should look like.
  • Proficiency in utilising reporting and presentation tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
