Job description

Broadgate has partnered with a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, is seeking a Manager/Principal in Cyber Security Engineer to join their global Security team. Based in state-of-the-art Cyber Security operations center facility in Dublin, you will play a crucial role in supporting the security engineering strategy. As part of our passionate and growing team, you will collaborate with various business units, providing security architecture and engineering expertise, including securing the SDLC.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and govern security solutions in areas such as endpoint security, network security, mobile device security, and data security
  • Design and implement security for cloud-based resources, aligning them with business requirements
  • Embed security within the development process and perform threat modeling and configuration review of security applications and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise & Security Architecture, Innovation & Analytics, IT Operations, and Cyber Resilience
  • Enhance ICON's cyber detection and response capability and communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in enterprise security controls, with expertise in cloud, application, network, mobile device, data security, and OS
  • Relevant certifications such as ISC2 CISSP, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, and SANS SEC4XX/5XX
  • Hands-on cloud experience and familiarity with security analysis and evaluation
  • Security engineering or operations experience and understanding of computer and network forensics
