The Role

The firm are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Senior Associates to join their Privacy and Data Security Team. They assist cutting edge clients with how best to strategically manage security incidents and high profile privacy related regulatory engagement, inquiries and claims. They also work with major tech and other companies on developing and refining their transfers strategies and products in compliance with privacy and privacy adjacent laws, as well as developing specialist product and service terms, particularly those with a privacy dimension.

Requirements

• 4+ PQE with relevant experience from an international or Irish law firm

• Love of and interest in Privacy / Data Security work

• Strong interest & knowledge of tech & tech developments

• Exceptional drafting and written communication skills.

Responsibilities of the role include

• Working on high profile and international privacy related regulatory engagements, inquiries and data security incidents.

• Providing strategic advice and support to business functions on privacy and data security issues related to new products and services.

• Developing and implementing global data transfers strategies for high profile clients.

• Reviewing key privacy risk indicators and controls.

• Participating in global, regional and local privacy related projects.

• Working on specialist product terms with privacy dimension.
