Job description

The Opportunity

I am currently recruiting for a wellknown global insurance company to join thier Regulatory Reporting Team, based in South Dublin. You will manage Solvency II Financial Reporting including quarterly and annual regulatory submissions and associated reporting. Reporting directly to the Controller, Financial Reporting, you will lead the Regulatory Reporting team through reporting periods.

This a hybrid role that would require you to be in the office 2 days a week and 3 days from home. This roleis offering a competitve salary of up to €80,000 some great benefits which inculde up to 15% bonus, 10% pension and healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Quarterly, bi-annual and annual QRTs and NSTs, SFCR and RSR reports for both Ireland and the UK
  • Co-ordinating and working with Actuarial, Investments, Risk, Reinsurance, Claims and Portfolio Underwriting functions to ensure completion of required reporting.
  • Operational day to day management and support, technical regulatory analysis and variance analysis during quarter and year end reporting including escalating to Controller, Financial Controller and CFO as needed.
  • Managing annual external regulatory audit providing finance information, process walkthroughs as needed
  • Responsible for overall team management including recruitment and daily management of direct reports

Requirements and Experience

  • Qualified Professional, 5 years + experience in financial regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of Solvency II requirements
  • Experience in SAP reporting tools (Business Explorer)
  • Previous involvement in IT projects, implementing reporting efficiencies and changes in reporting taxonomies
