Join a dynamic team in Liverpool City Centre as a Pensions Risk & Compliance Officer. This permanent role based in the office supports the Risk & Compliance Director in the company which is a growing subsidiary of an International Group with over 500 diverse individuals.
Your Role:
1. Shape Pensions Risk Management:
· Lead the way in implementing and maintaining a risk management framework tailored to the business and aligned with the Group.
2. Team Up for Assessments:
· Work closely with Line 1 during Risk & Control Self-Assessments and Reviews, focusing on pension-related risks.
3. Connect with Stakeholders:
· Engage with stakeholders at all levels, sharing insights and advice, particularly on risk management.
4. Navigate Regulatory Compliance:
· Provide support in identifying and managing regulatory compliance risks within the dynamic pensions landscape.
5. Build a Pensions-Centric Risk and Compliance Culture:
· Help establish a Risk and Compliance Culture with a pensions-centric approach.
6. Support Pivotal Projects:
· Offer regulatory compliance advice for key projects.
7. Controlled Functions:
· Handle responsibilities related to Controlled Functions, ensuring compliance within the evolving pensions landscape.
8. Professional Conduct with Pensions Expertise:
· Uphold positive and professional conduct, emphasising pensions expertise.
About You:
· In-Depth Pensions Knowledge:
Showcase a solid understanding of risk drivers relevant to a pension provider backed by relevant experience.
· Risk Management in Financial Services:
Demonstrate knowledge of risk management practices, specifically within the financial services sector and pensions.
· Regulatory Knowledge:
Leverage market familiarity and knowledge of regulations, giving special attention to pensions-related regulations.
· Multi-Jurisdictional Pensions Experience:
Highlight experience in operating within different jurisdictions, with a focus on the complex world of pensions.
· Compliance Assurance:
Showcase a background in conducting compliance assurance reviews, with the unique challenges posed in the industry.
· Horizon Scanning on Regulatory Changes:
Illustrate experience in monitoring and implementing regulatory changes, staying updated on relevant market, legislative and regulatory developments.
· Adaptability and Growth:
Exhibit a track record in navigating business growth and change.
