Broadgate are working with a Global Insurance Company in Dublin to recruit for a Senior Accountant to work alongside the CFO.

You will manage the end-to-end financial accounting close process. Working alongside senior management, this role is perfect for an ambitious accountant looking to progress into a leadership position themselves. There are zero barriers when it comes to growth/progression opportunities.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounting close process.
• Responsible for the posting of relevant journals on a monthly basis.
• Liaise and maintain a good working relationship with external auditors.
• Assist the CFO in emerging finance projects, including presentations to Board.

Competencies

• Life insurance experience is essential.
• Previous Big 4 experience is an advantage.
• Solvency II experience is also advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and motivated to learn and progress.
