Broadgate is proud to be partnered with a leading Fund Administration business focused on serving private capital asset managers and investors. With more than $1 trillion in assets under administration, the business is now looking to expand operations in the UK and Europe.
The business is looking to recruit a full time Treasury Operations Director to work 3 days per week in the Southampton office.
About the Role:
Lead a growing team of centralised treasury individuals. You will have 2 direct reports, with a wider team of 15.
Liaise with business units to manage payment instructions and timing of payments for investment capital calls, investor distributions and expense.
You will be actively involved in the implementation of a treasury management platform to manage all client money movement processes
Oversee onboarding of clients onto the Treasury Management platform
Manage and collaborate on workflow and processes associated with fund accountant and client requests
Oversee the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control narratives related to the Treasury system's functions with accuracy and completeness
Identify opportunities for standardisation, and continual process improvement and coordination where possible
Oversee the consolidation and centralisation of the Treasury Team to be located in Southampton, England and Luxembourg
Liaise with treasury product vendor(s) and banks
About You:
c.8 years experience within an operational role in a finance/banking environment.
Proven management experience leading a team within a financial services environment.
Good understanding of European regulations, compliance and tax.
Competent with cash management systems
Proactive in providing training
