As people are demanding more from workplaces when it comes to employee wellbeing policies and family-friendly initiatives, there is an increasing demand to ensure diversity and inclusion are at the heart of business strategy.
In this episode, we explored diversity-focused family leave policies, including shared parental, adoption and surrogacy leave. We were joined by an expert panel of parents in the legal and finance sector, who highlighted their experiences in balancing demanding careers and parenthood. We looked at how organisations can do more to normalise and empower parents through non-traditional family policies so that parents don’t have to choose between their career and starting a family.
