​​​Alex owns our People strategy and is accountable for aligning that with our overall group strategy. Our people strategy incorporates five key pillars; Talent Acquisition, Development, Performance, Retention and Management – ensuring we are hiring the right people and that they are joining the right leaders and teams, reducing the time it takes to unlock their potential, providing the right environment and tools to retain our top talent and ensuring the right performance management mechanisms are in place.

Alex started in recruitment in 2010 after studying Business & Marketing at Sheffield Hallam University. The first 10 years of Alex’s recruitment career was spent in sales and leadership roles before moving from Trust in SODA to our group Learning and Development function. Since then he has brought together our Talent Acquisition, PeopleOps, HR & Learning, Development & Performance teams into a broader Talent, People and Performance team.
