As a Compliance Manager, you will assist the UK branch in managing compliance risks across the 1 st line. You will be responsible for working directly with the business to implement the compliance strategy and framework.
Responsibilities:
As a Compliance Manager, you will assist the UK branch in managing compliance risks across the 1 st line. You will be responsible for working directly with the business to implement the compliance strategy and framework.
Have in depth technical knowledge of applicable FCA rule books, including but not limited to CONC, SYSC, PRIN, DISP and also working knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act laws;
Work closing with both the UK branch DPO and second line functions to ensure that processing of data is compliant with GDPR/DPA 2018
Lead and chair UK compliance forum in line with governance developing quality documentation to assess our compliance against key regulation;
Be a key stakeholder in the implementation and embedding of Consumer Duty regulations;
1st line sign off and approval of Financial Promotions, whether that be an promotion, or partner retailers financial promotion / marketing campaigns
Requirements
Proven expertise of applicable FCA rule books, including but not limited to CONC, SYSC, PRIN, DISP and also working knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act laws
Extensive experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory compliance at a senior level within a retail lending / consumer finance environment.
Can demonstrate data protection compliance advisory work
