Our client are seeking a Director Operational Risk that is responsible for second line oversight of the Tech stack enabling the firms businesses, material legal entities and product offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide governance and oversight of technology risk.
• Assist in developing policies and standards.
• Oversee key technology operational risks, related indicators, and thresholds.
• Challenge business and technology Risk Self-Assessments.
• Perform internal and external event reviews specific to Banking businesses.
• Independently assess risks, drive actions to address root causes, and advise on best practices.
• Collaborate with businesses and control functions to review and challenge new product or service proposals.
• Develop and maintain relationships across the business and Lines of Defense.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant experience; professional certifications (CISSP, CISA, CPA, etc.) preferred.
• Proven strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to different audiences and cultures.
• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
