Broadgate have partnered with a middle sized banking group based in the West Midlands who are looking to add an operational Risk manager to the team. They have a team which has been able to stay in the company long term and grow both in title, responsibility and financial gain - enough for majority to stay with in the company 5 years + and still be fur-filled! The position at this stage is an individual contributer but will look to grow into a leadership position in the future. The company have a Hybrid approach to working in Birmingham (2 days a week in the office) and very much champion flexibility in work/home life balance. As one of the operational risk manager you would:

• Provide continuous oversight and challenge in respect of operational risk events to ensure information is accurately documented, appropriate actions have been considered.
• Support the Operational Risk department in the discharge of its duties and provide continuous guidance to line management and the Group's individual business functions with the identification, measurement, monitoring and effective management of operational risk via the completion of RCSA's
• Assisting in the ongoing embedding and continual enhancement of all aspects of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF)
• Helping to embed operational risk awareness across the Group's first line through active stakeholder management, engagement and technical support.
