Broadgate has partnered with a successful multinational engineering and construction services company specialising in network infrastructure and industrial solutions in the appointment of a Senior Financial Accountant. This is a commercial role with a blended range of duties offering excellent FP&A exposure to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and key performance indicators commentary.
• Assist in delivering multi-year forecasts, annual budgets, and various trading forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Formulate and present financial presentations to senior management, aiding in evaluating commercial actions and strategic options.
• Contribute to improving the quality of financial analysis provided to senior management.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, enforce internal control procedures, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Prepare annual audit schedules and ensure timely submission of statutory tax returns and other required data.
• Manage working capital, focusing on debtor collection and minimising work in progress.
• Provide assistance in supervising AP, AR, and payroll processes, particularly related to subcontractor and network supplier payments.
• Conduct weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and review bank and creditor reconciliations.
• Review VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns and analyze the Fixed Asset Register and fixed asset verification.

Qualifications

• Audit trained from one of the Top 6, Qualified Accountant with 2/3 years PQE in Industry
• Strong communicator with excellent ability to manage key stakeholders
• Commercial experience highly desirable

Whats on Offer

• Salary from €65-80,000 DOE
