Head of Risk (Chief Risk Officer & Designated Person Operational Risk) - Dublin

Your role:
- Leverages global company risk programs and aligning with European Risk Management programs, develops, maintains, and evolves a thorough and comprehensive enterprise risk management framework for identifying, monitoring, and analysing risk
- As CRO you will be responsible for the management of risk controls.
- As the Designated Person for Operational Risk, the role holder will follow the UCITS managerial obligations and produce quarterly managerial functions' reporting, including delegate oversight.
- Ensuring that the enterprise risk framework is embedded and demonstrates oversight of key operational and enterprise risks in respect of the companies legal entity
- Develops the communication, reporting, training, and ongoing enhancement elements of the enterprise risk program
- Works with the European Enterprise Risk Management team to support the identification of appropriate risk appetite metrics, dashboards and reporting capability for executive management and Boards.
- Leads the requirements of the Enterprise Risk Management Governance & Reporting structure and supports the companies European Risk & Compliance Committee and Governance structures.
- Leads, maintains, and evolves a risk advisory and oversight model for the company
- Understands the requirements and complexities of the diverse regulatory environments and business processes that support the company, including but not limited to UCITS regulations. CP86 and CP138.
- Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned, providing risk management leadership.
If you have the below experience, you're likely to be suitable;
- 10+ years of experience with at least 5-10 years in risk management.
- Experience in a broad range of risk management including risk identification; business continuity; regulatory risk, fraud risk with core expertise in operational risk.
- Strong understanding of the investment process, operations, outsourcing and technology as well as audit and compliance.
- Previous experience within a UCITS Management company desired.
- Previous CBI approved person (Designated Person or otherwise) preferable.
This role is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland; once approved, the role holder will hold the controlled functions PCF-39B (Designated Person for Operational Risk) & PCF-14 CRO.
